Caretaker & Pokemon Bio Forms

When creating a Caretaker character, please use this bio form. You may begin role-playing with the character as soon as a staff member accepts it and creates a sub-board in the accepted bios board and a barn for the character.

Name: Self-explanatory. A first and last name, as well as nicknames, are appreciated.

Age: Self-explanatory. Please no caretakers younger than 16.

Gender: Male or female.

Quirks/Preferences: Any sort of quirks or preferences regarding the caretaker's Pokemon, please list them here. For instance, does the caretaker have a particular naming scheme? Maybe the caretaker has a favorite type? Perhaps the caretaker only likes pink Pokemon? Whatever you write will go into your caretaker's section of this thread.

Description: As short or as long as needed, please give us details about the character's looks.

Personality: As short or as long as needed, please give us details about the character's actions, motives, etc.

Brief History: As short or as long as you want, let us know how this person joined the ranch.

When creating a Pokemon character, please use this bio form. You may begin role-playing with the character as soon as a staff member accepts it and moves it to its caretaker's sub-board.

Serebii is a FANTASTIC site for all your Pokemon needs. We recommend referring to it for information while you create your character.

Thread Title: Please put the thread's title as (Name) the (Species), so the caretakers know that you have read the instructions for the form.

Name: We admin ask that every Pokemon has a unique nickname to make it easier for the Caretakers to distinguish between Pokemon of the same species.

Caretaker: You may choose which care-taker cares for your Pokemon. Please keep the "Pokemon Count" written in the caretaker's board in mind when choosing one, as well remembering the caretakers' quirks and preferences, found on this thread. If one caretaker is getting too many Pokemon to care for or the Pokemon goes against the caretakers' preferences, a staff member may choose a different caretaker for the Pokemon. If you want us staff members to choose, just say "Surprise me!"

Gender: Male or female. If you are playing as a "genderless" Pokemon, please indicate whether it acts more masculine or feminine.

Species: Self-explanatory.

Type: Self-explanatory.

Egg Group: Self-explanatory; this is just to make it easier in case some Pokemon want to breed.

Ability: Make sure the ability is one that your Pokemon's species would have. We do not want any Charizard with the Overgrow ability; that'd be silly!

Attacks: Each Pokemon can have up to six attacks. They can be attacks that the Pokemon learned from leveling up, from TMs and HMs, or even Egg moves.

Personality: A short, one-liner about the Pokemon's behavior is all we need.

Brief History: As short or as long as you want, let us know how this Pokemon joined the ranch.
