Welcome! ^^ This site was created so people can RP their favorite Pokemon, interact with others, and just have fun. We're pretty laid-back around here so everyone can be as free as possible with their creative ideas. However, like all sites, we do have some rules for you all to follow to make this a better experience for everybody:
Respect: Although we don't expect everyone to get along with everybody here, we do want you all to at least be tolerable with each other. Don't go picking fights, don't try to offend others, don't discuss touchy subjects such as religion or politics, etc. Please be polite to everyone, and if you do have a problem with someone, please contact a staff member and he/she will take care of it.
Obey Admins: They are here to help, but if you're being disrespectful to them, then you may find yourself warned or even banned from the site. Don't do anything stupid, and you should be fine. ^^ Don't worry, most of us don't bite.
Accounts/Characters: In regards to accounts and characters on this site, we would like each member to have one account for all characters. There is no limit on the number of characters one can have, but they must all remain active. We ask that members list any caretaker characters in their signature; the caretakers' Pokemon will be listed in their accepted boards.
No Godmodding/Power-playing: Although it is very tempting, especially in Pokemon battles, please do not have any invincible characters, and do not control another member's characters. For example, you cannot have a Bulbasaur come through another member's Charizard's Flamethrower unscathed, and then say Bulbasaur's Tackle took out said Charizard in a KO. Those are big no-no's.
IC and OOC: IC stands for "in-character," meaning you are role-playing as your character. OOC means "out of character," and is for when you are not playing your character. While in the role-playing boards, we urge everyone to remain IC. If, for some reason, you have something to say OOC, then please clearly indicate that you are talking OOC by putting what you have to say in double parenthesis ((like this)), or by some other method.
Posting: Double-posting is forbidden. Post once and give others a chance to respond. If you find that you forgot something in your post, there is a modify button in the top-right corner of the post that you can use to add to the post. Also, there is no specific posting limit; you may post how little or how much you like. However, we do not want one-liners all over the place; make sure you post enough to give other people something to reply to. Put some effort into your posts!
Rating: According to Proboards's rules, people under the age of 13 are not allowed to sign-up. In regards to that (and the fact that this is Pokemon), this site is rated around PG to PG-13. Please post accordingly.
Relationships: We staff members have nothing against characters, Pokemon or care-takers, having relationships with other characters. Crushes and loves are all well and good, but we must ask that there is to be no content that violates the rating and no "instant-relationships." Take the time to build up the special relationship. Please also note the egg groups; Pokemon in different egg groups cannot breed together.
Activity: This is the key ingredient to any RP site! We will not bother you with Activity Checks. However, if you are not active for a couple of months, then your caretaker character will be moved to the Inactive Caretakers board, and your Pokemon characters could end up in the Adoption Center. If you know that you are going to be gone for a while, please post in the Hi and Good-bye board to let us all know. This is just an effort to make the site neater and more organized.
Any questions or concerns, please PM Kris or Sapphire.

- NPC Characters: The NPC account is a staff account that the staff members may use as a master account to help create and run plots, and to also RP as certain NPC Pokemon that caretakers may receive during special events or through the course of the game. However, members may also control the NPC Pokemon that fall under the members' caretaker(s) care. Members may not play as the NPC Pokemon that are under another member's caretaker's care.

**In addition to these, we are also complying with Proboards rules. Please follow those as well as these so this site doesn't get in trouble!**
